Art stuff and park stuff

We walked to a different park this afternoon. Walk?? asked Big Monkey in a very surprised voice, no, we need to take the buss it is so far. Well, we did walk, even little Monkey. Although on the way back he was too tired to run with his push bike and half way he had to leave his stick behind he found in the woods but we walked all the way. I have to admit it was a bit further than I remembered and I'm really tired today but it was a good use of the lovely weather we had today. I even forgot to take photos.

I've made some art recently. Mostly colour onto paper whenever I found some time. Rarely a finished project to show. But I made these Atc's for a swap, they were well received. Always a relief.

Here's a photo of the blue and green M&M selection we bought Sunday.

And this is how your tongue will look like after eating some...

More photos from the London Eye

London Eye

As it was a bank holiday weekend we decided instead of a little weekend trip we would go on the London Eye.

From the top we could see Alexandra Palace.

Little Monkey was a bit worried at first and wouldn't get up from the bench in the middle of the cabin. Only after a while he ventured a bit closer to the glass but only for a short time.

We were really lucky with the weather, it was nice and sunny while we were on the London Eye so we could see very far and the view was very clear.

M & M World

I couldn't quite believe it but there is a four storey shop in London dedicated to M & Ms.

You can buy anything from pillows, cups, clothes, balls to cat toys. Oh, and alarm clocks.

And sweets of course. Here Big Monkey clutches our special sea coloured baggy of green and blue M & Ms that we chose from the containers. (and her Playmobil dragon who joined in)

This is Little Monkey after he met Green. Well, can't blame him really. They are normally a lot smaller and not adult size nor do they normally speak and mention his nice green wellie boots.

We only found this while searching for a Routemaster mug for Grandpa. We didn't find one in case you're wondering. But today's program was actually the London Eye and Chinatown. Photos from that tomorrow. Now I have to marvel at that lovely colour combination in the wine glasses...

Trains, trains, trains...

As so often Little Monkey set up one of his many train tracks. This is Thomas' shed with a really long train from the Brio train set. For some reason he didn't like me take a photo and ran away hopping up and down screaming no, nooo, noooo photo.

Then suddenly he insisted on me taking a photo. But just the way he wanted it. He told me where to point the camera and what should be on the photo.

365 - 235 Playtime

Big Monkey's favourite toy at the moment, her Playmobil castle.
