Bletchley Park

Home of the very secret code breakers during World War II, the excitement! Daddy Monkey was elated that he finally got to get there and see "da bomb". Sorry, well they called the enigma machine bombe - ahem. Apparently it's also the birthplace of the modern computer.

Lots of very big machines with very little screens. Daddy Monkey was trying to impress Little Monkey, here  successful only to the extent as it involves planes because it is a flight controller's computer. He clearly wonders where the planes actually are though.

This one had a joy stick to make a line go up and down. Funny. Hmm, generally it can be said the rest of the family aren't really nerds.

The toy museum was a bigger success, it had toys to try out which is always a good thing.

  1. Now see - we didn't get anywhere but the computer museum and cafe... we're going to go back. The tickets are valid for a year after all!
